Design Features
Compact, square and discreet profile made of extruded aluminium is only 95 mm in height when retracted. The cover is protected from the weather by the cassette, which encloses it completely. For long-lasting attractiveness, the awning has been powder coated in the case of manual operation it is supplied with a stainless-steel winding handle – quality to get to grips with.

Optimised stainless-steel gas pistons within the drop arms maintain excellent fabric tension, delivering a clean, taut appearance in any position.


Optional Accessories
The Drop Arm Awning can be operated via a hard-wired motor, with optional automatic weather controls for effortless and reliable performance. For maximum convenience, a radio-controlled motor with remote control is also available. An easy-to-install radio-controlled light and wind sensor enhances comfort and safety, even when unattended. Optional telescopic accro bars allow for secure installation on balconies or locations without suitable wall fixings.

The front profile features a spring-loaded closing mechanism for smooth and secure operation. Special Features
Practical wedge-in accro bars are available for balcony installations. These can be securely clamped between the floor of your balcony and the balcony above, providing a stable and convenient mounting solution where wall fixings are not possible.
Fabric Cover
Choose from the full range of fabrics in the current markilux collection, available in sunvas snc or sunsilk snc, including the exclusive visutex designs. Special perfotex and vuscreen fabrics (vuscreen FR / vuscreen Alu) are also available, offering excellent transparency for clear outward views while still providing optimal shading and heat protection.


Dimensions
The Drop Arm Awning is available in single units up to 700 cm wide, featuring a split cover and three drop arms for balanced tension and stability. For larger installations, coupled awnings—comprising two single units—can achieve an overall width of up to 800 cm. A variety of arm and cover length combinations allow for tailored solar protection, perfectly suited to your individual requirements.
Operation
The awning comes equipped as standard with a smooth-operating gearbox. For added convenience, a hard-wired or radio-controlled motor with markilux remote control can be installed as an optional upgrade.
